Scratch:
Theonly memorial that was different to me was the one when I got a hand job.
Was that a bribe or a reward?
i missed my first memorial last year in 60 years.
it always amazed me on this special night that the jw's forget how to park their cars in the parking lot.
i would pull in with my wife and there are 5 brothers giving directions on where and how to park my car.

watchtower article often introduce a point that has no merit with words such a "undeniably.".
for instance the watchtower 2014 august 15 page 10 says:.
"jehovah undeniably blesses the preaching work of christian women and supports them in times of trial.
s there an official term for this type of fallacious reasoning?
Lying
the next time i see the jdubs standing or sitting by their carts sipping their coffee lattes or updating their facebook pages, i am going to approach them with the following thought process acting as an interested person.. do jw's believe the end is near?.
do you consider your preaching work to be urgent?.
why do you just let people walk by if their very lives are at stake?
or
why not stand there with them--engage passers by--show the dubs how to witness to others ?
last night i was listening in as my spouse was on the phone line.
there was a big "local needs" talk announced and it was speculated to be about the congregation reshuffling.. that ended up to be the case.
i thought i used to lay it on thick from the platform....... this was the ultimate spin job - worthy of political office or a spot on the governing body.. one thing that stood out "while the numbers may not necessarily indicate it, it is clear jehovah is speeding up the work".
are there any figures to show how many new bible studies have been started as a result of cart minding compared to door knocking ?
where can i find a disfellowshipped wife ;)
will this do ?
i attended the assembly programming at dudley yesterday (saturday) and it was so boring.. only 5 baptisms i think.
during the baptism talk an 11 year old girl was interviewed who has already been baptised a year!
(disgraceful).
my involvement with Dudley--the town--not the assembly hall....was my job.
back in the late 60's i took a job as an insurance agent with the United Friendly insurance company--a UK friendly society. the job involved travelling round the area--shaking down customers for weekly insurance premiums. all my clients were west indian ex pat immigrants settled in the west midlands. it was never without its fun and incidents.
the job was very popular with dubs--i knew lots who worked for the company.
it's goodbye to bristol - hengrove congregation of jw's and the inmates ... err ... members, will be sent to two other bristol congregations either side of it.. i'm told by two elders from bristol, england it is being disbanded on may 1st 2018. this is the 2nd congregation in this circuit to be disbanded recently - the 1st being portishead in late 2014.. hooray!.
and did they own their own KH?

my late mum and dad used to go to Dudley--they lived about 12 miles away.
i've always been currious as to how i would look with a beard so i've finally committed to doing it.
over the next 30 days i'm going to grow out a full chin to ear beard.. .
ps: any suggestions or advice on how to grow a beard would be much appreciated!.
i grew a beard in my 20's. a person i hadnt seen for a while said " i like your beard--it makes you look like a c*nt "
i was sat in the assembly hall yesterday, wondering how many pimo ones like me there was there.
or even if they don't know ttatt still don't believe it for whatever reason.. i think there must be more of (us) there than we all realise.
i mean, brothers reaching out is at an all time low, information via the internet is at an all time high and the preaching work has now become a motionless, speechless babysitting of a book shelf advertising a website as someone here pointed out!.
